I am 13 and have been given access to the NHS app by my doctor’s surgery https://www.nhs.uk/nhs-app/nhs-app-help-and-support/getting-started-with-the-nhs-app/who-can-use-the-nhs-app/why can’t I have access to the Sciensus app until I am 16?
In the UK, the legal age that a child can consent to processing of their personal data for online services is 13 years. For a child under 13, the person holding parental responsibility for that child must give their consent.
However, Sciensus has taken an approach to set the age to 16 years. We’re looking to review this in the near future.
