We’ve been bringing patients the life-changing treatments they need, where they’re most comfortable, for 30 years. Today, we’re a leading healthcare provider of complex clinical care and medication services. Our 1,700-strong team is proud to support over 200,000 patients and their families, every single year.
We work hard to listen, learn and improve our services every day. The safe provision and application of high-end medicines in the home to patients. We are proud to make 4,500 clinical deliveries every day, over 95,000 every month, and over 3.2 million patient interactions, across 50 therapy areas every year.
A clinically-focused workforce: approximately 55% of our colleagues are clinically qualified. But scale isn’t our motivation. We are passionate about each and every patient’s health and how we can help them to better help themselves, as every patient is different.
We’re a long-trusted partner of the NHS and a whole host of private medical insurers, providers, Pharmaceutical companies and private consultants and we have coverage and relationships with every acute trust in the UK. Those partnerships mean our friendly, experienced team can bring expert homecare and medication deliveries to you, virtually anywhere in the country.
Our story started in 1992, when we began bringing at-home treatments to patients with cancer. Almost three decades later, we’ve expanded our team and our expertise to offer therapies for more than 50 different conditions, giving you more choice over the care you receive, and helping you access the best treatments, from the comfort of your home.
We know how important it is for medicines to be safely prepared, stored and transported. That’s why we’ve created our own industry-leading compounding unit, tackling chronic shortages in UK medicines manufacturing. We’ve established 16 distribution centres across Europe and grown a fleet of 140 temperature-controlled vehicles providing seamless, reliable cold-chain deliveries and secure storage for even the most sensitive medicines.
Clinical homecare is only part of your treatment journey, so we work in close partnership with everyone involved in your care, from hospital consultants to local pharmacists and private insurance providers. We liaise with them regularly, keeping everyone up to date and making sure you get the support you need, when you need it.
Having your treatment in the right place, at the right time can make all the difference to your experience, and we’re proud to offer thousands of patients every year the choice to stay at home for their care. Our friendly, experienced teams include more than 400 specialist nurses and around 30 pharmacists – and we’re growing, training our own nurses through a specially designed programme in accreditation with Birmingham City University.
We’re looking to the future, and all the incredible opportunities it brings us to help you achieve even more. Whether we’re using detailed insights to better understand your needs or developing digital technologies that make your medicines easier to manage, we’re constantly improving our service so you can feel more in control of your health.
Amanda’s story
“Receiving my treatment at home was the best decision I have ever made. When I was diagnosed with breast cancer and told that I could have treatment at home if I wished, it was a no-brainer. My home is my safe space and I was able to have my treatment in a familiar room in my comfy chair.”
