Jörg joined Sciensus as Head of Finance/IT based in Switzerland from November 2024, bringing over 15 years of finance and leadership experience in the healthcare industry.
Before joining Sciensus, he spent seven years at Biogen, where he led financial operations and strategy for international distributor markets, most recently serving as Head of Finance for European Distributor Markets, including Israel. Prior to Biogen, Jörg was Finance Business Partner at Shire (now part of Takeda), overseeing the CEEMEA region (Central and Eastern Europe, Middle East, and Africa). He began his career at Johnson & Johnson, where he held a series of finance roles with increasing responsibility at both regional and local levels.
In addition to his role at Sciensus, Jörg serves as Treasurer and Board Member of PEAK15health, a registered non-profit that delivers expert-led health education to communities across all income levels.
He holds an MBA with a specialisation in Economics from the University of St. Gallen and is a Certified Management Accountant (CMA) and member of the Institute of Management Accountants (IMA).
