Darren Gailey is Business Development Director at Sciensus with more than two decades of experience across pharmaceutical sales, account management, commercial strategy and NHS contracting. He has worked across a wide range of therapy areas including oncology, biologics, mental health, respiratory, cardiovascular disease and diabetes, helping pharmaceutical companies navigate complex healthcare pathways and improve patient access to medicines.
Darren brings particular expertise in commercialisation, tendering and market access, with a strong track record of launching new therapies, building strategic partnerships and developing pricing and contracting strategies that deliver value for both healthcare providers and industry partners. Prior to joining Sciensus, he held senior leadership roles at Bath ASU/Pharmaxo, where he led national sales and commercial contracting teams, overseeing NHS and private tenders and supporting the growth of aseptic compounding, medicines supply and homecare services.
His broad understanding of the pharmaceutical, NHS and homecare sectors enables him to connect commercial objectives with practical service delivery, helping organisations develop solutions that improve access, outcomes and patient experience.
