Our annual satisfaction survey is now open until April 25, so please don’t delay as your feedback is important. The survey is the opportunity for patients, parents, or carers to tell us how we’re doing. Invites have now been sent by email and SMS from Iqvia, an independent organisation. We’re here to make life easier for you and your family. Find out how our clinical homecare services could help you do better, feel better and get better results, long term.
At Sciensus, we’ve been bringing patients exceptional healthcare for 30 years, so we know how important it is to feel you’re in control of your treatment, making choices that feel right for you. That’s why we use our insight, experience and understanding to give you the clinical care you need, where you want to be. Whether we treat you at home, teach you to administer your own treatment, or just deliver your medication, we’ll be there to support you, every step of the way.
We’re proud to provide a whole range of exceptional clinical services, including complex nursing care, chemotherapy, intravenous antibiotics, blood transfusions, physiotherapy and occupational therapy. At the same time, we’ll help you tap into empowering, user-friendly technologies that put practical, clinical and wellbeing support, right at your fingertips, 24 hours a day.
Our friendly, expert team works with over 200,000 patients across the UK and beyond, and we’re here to support you in every way we can. Our clinical healthcare services include:
Complex pharmacy services delivering vital medication to your home or, location of your choice
Early supported discharge services to help you recover and rehabilitate at home after a hospital stay
Paediatric care tailored to the needs of children and young people who need ongoing treatment for a range of long-term conditions
Cancer care at home, including chemotherapy, in the comfort and convenience of your home
Complex medicines support for a wide range of conditions, delivered by our specialist nurses and therapists, one-to-one in the home
Our therapy areas page has lots more information on the conditions we treat. If you’d like to find out whether we can help you, talk to your consultant or GP. They’ll tell you whether your treatment can be given at home and, if so, they can refer you to us. You’ll still be under their supervision throughout your treatment, but it’ll be delivered by our friendly, expert team.
We work with all of the major private medical insurance companies and in many parts of the country, you can choose our services on the NHS too.
When you’re living with an illness or long-term condition, being able to live your life as normally as possible really matters. So, we bring your medicines and care to you, helping you fit your treatment around your day-to-day life, without travelling to hospital.
Your immune system can be weaker while you’re having treatments like chemotherapy, so it’s important to protect yourself and minimise your risk of catching things like colds or flu. Making the journey to hospital and being around lots of people can leave you vulnerable to infection, so our homecare helps to reduce that risk.
We know how important it is to feel comfortable with the people treating you, so unless there’s a good reason, we’ll always send one of the same three nurses to visit you. They’ll provide all the one-to-one care, emotional support and practical help you need.
We’re proud to say we’ve over 400 specially trained nurses, experienced in more than 50 complex conditions, and our 150 chemotherapy nurses are all trained to degree or master’s level. So, you’ll be in the safest hands, with expert care that comes to you.
If you’d like to find out whether homecare could be right for you, start by talking to your GP, consultant or hospital team about a referral to Sciensus.
