Our Information Governance team has been shortlisted for a top award that recognises examples of excellence and best practice in the management of information and records.
In the last 12 months we have revised and simplified our approach to Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs), undertook root cause analysis f and set up data guardian meetings to further improve how information is archived.
And this work helped us to be nominated for the Team of the Year award at the Information and Records Management Society conference in Glasgow in May.
The shortlisting was determined by a panel of industry experts. Now the society’s 1100 members, spread across 30 countries, will vote to decide who wins.
One of the team members, IG officer Arandip, said: “We believe we have made significant progress this year by changing our approach to IG so it’s brilliant news. We’re ambitious to be the best – hopefully we will win.”
